Grupo Fenix is located in the rural community of Sabana Grande, Totogalpa, Madriz and has been running service learning courses based in renewable energy, appropriate technologies and community development since 2000. Our courses, tailored to meet your needs, will engage your students and allow them to experience meaningful travel in a development context. As well as the components mentioned below we provide logistical support for groups and their leaders and if required transport between locations, translation services and accommodation in Managua and throughout Nicaragua. While staying with Grupo Fenix you will stay in homestays provide by The Solar Women of Totogalpa Cooperative who has been hosting international volunteers and visitors since 2000.
